ABOUT THE DESIGNER
DUNNE CLIFF is a Canadian conceptual knitwear brand. Heritage and humour are core to the label, and collections consider topics relating to philosophy, technology, the history of science, and art. ALLISON DUNNE is an emerging Canadian designer from British Columbia. Her family heritage in Shetland, Scotland led to her focus on knitwear, with DUNNE CLIFF pieces featuring traditional motifs. ALLISON released three runway collections at Vancouver Fashion Week between 2023 and 2024. Her work has been featured on CTV NEWS, COSMOPOLITAN KOREA, VOGUE ITALY and VOGUE MEXICO.

From C to shining C, we ask ourselves again "what is the Canadian identity?" With threats from below, and skies above us, are we still defined by our father who art in Britain? DUNNE CLIFF’s FALL25 season considers the awkward nature of the Canadian identity. The collection uses conceptual knitwear to play with a youthful Canadian broadcasting corporation in relation to an emotionally unavailable British broadcasting father.
