ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Cetasia is a Toronto-based fashion label exploring sustainability, creative storytelling, and textile design. Founded by Lilli Cetasia Wickham—an art director and fashion producer from Vancouver Island—Cetasia challenges conventional fashion by integrating storytelling with ecological awareness. Lilli’s work emphasizes repurposed textiles, hand-painting, and fabric manipulation to create garments that embody transformation. Influenced by environmental teachings and circular design, their approach deconstructs artistry and functionality, fostering conversations on healing, renewal, and the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. As Assistant Director of Fashion Art Toronto, Lilli oversees runway productions, community relations, and visual storytelling. Their broader work spans editorial projects and multidisciplinary collaborations, bridging fashion, art, and community. Through research-driven design and immersive experiences, Cetasia redefines fashion as a medium for artistic storytelling and activism, deepening engagement with cultural and environmental discourse.

Catharsis
Catharsis is a fashion-based exploration of personal evolution and environmental renewal, reflecting cycles of growth, loss, and reconnection. Rooted in themes of eco-anxiety and resilience, the collection begins with constricted silhouettes that symbolize trauma and societal constraints, gradually evolving into fluid, layered forms that represent healing and transformation. Sustainability is central, incorporating repurposed textiles, hand-painting, and fabric manipulation to create depth, texture, and meaning. The collection draws from environmental teachings and circular design principles, emphasizing the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. Through a fusion of artistry and functionality, the collection challenges conventional fashion narratives, positioning garments as vessels of emotional and environmental storytelling. It serves as a reflection of contemporary anxieties surrounding climate change while offering a visual and tactile representation of renewal and resilience.
